Neom City in Saudi Arabia is the most representative city currently under construction, combining features of a smart city. Neom City envisions a sustainable future city by utilizing artificial intelligence, robotics, and renewable energy. With a vast area of 26,500 km², approximately 44 times the size of Seoul, it is planned to be constructed in a wide desert region, accommodating a population of over one million.

Neom City operates entirely on 100% renewable energy, without roads, cars, or exhaust emissions. Ninety-five percent of the land is preserved for nature conservation. Unlike traditional cities that prioritize transportation and infrastructure, Neom City focuses on the well-being and health of its inhabitants. Korean companies, such as Hyundai Motor Group, Samsung C&T, and Hanmi Global, are also participating in the construction project.

The city is divided into three parts: "The Line," "Trojan," and "Hexagon."

• "The Line" is a straight city with a length of 170 km, designed to accommodate nine million people. It operates as an eco-friendly city powered by 100% renewable energy. Planned as a "car-free city," The Line ensures that all services are accessible within a 5-minute walk, with a primary means of transportation being an eco-friendly high-speed railway.

• "Trojan" is a mountain tourism complex designated as the venue for the Asian Games. It includes plans for the construction of Saudi Arabia's first outdoor ski resort and an artificial lake. The area will feature large-scale housing, including apartments and hotels, and is expected to become a shopping, leisure, and tourism district for residents and visitors.

• "Hexagon" is an octagonal-shaped, world's largest marine floating industrial complex built on the sea. It focuses on future industries, expected to generate jobs for 90,000 people and create 70,000 jobs. Saudi Arabia plans to nurture future industries and talents through Hexagon, taking responsibility for the country's future.
